GerontoMitoSys is a project within the research framework "Systems biology in healthy aging" of the BMBF. The project is coordinated by the Johann Wolfgang Goethe-University in Frankfurt, Germany, and started its work 1st January 2010. The GerontoMitoSys consortium consists of 9 partners from Germany.

The main purpose of the GerontoMitoSys project is to investigate the mitochondrial network of pathways involved in aging and lifespan control by a systems biology approach.
